The brand Welly represents a great achievement reached in more than 20 years’ experience in the field of injection-moulding compounding process supported by our new 5000 meters square industrial plant based in Bosnia Herzegovina where we manage also productions of raw materials at extrusion department producing more than 2 million kgs of PVC per year as raw material necessary for the five injection PVC machineries which allow us to distribute over 1.2 million of footwear per year worldwide.
Welly brand is a reference point that offers to our customers a high-quality selection of PPE footwear made in conformity with EU REACH regulation through injection of phthalate-free compounds internally produced and used for all our production.

Welly boots are made with particular attention to compliance with REACH regulations, respect for the environment and
the total absence of Phthalate substances in the compounds.

For this reason we always declare that our products do not contain any of the substances classified as SVCH (Substances of Very High Concern), currently included in the “Candidate list” in concentrations higher than 0.1% weight/weight. In accordance with article 33 of the REACH regulation and possible update of the quoted list, we declare the constant monitoring of the possible inclusion of new substances on the list, and timely information to our customers in the event that such substances are contained in products supplied by us.
The best mixture for the hardest use, this is our upgraded version of antistatic resins and nitrile rubber specially produced with a specific plasticizer which offers the best performance for chemical and acids substances , particularly indicated for productions of our Safety and Professional –Food Industry sector.

This antistatic compound is enriched with an high percentage of Nitrile Rubber both for sole and upper which ensures a particular softness of the material in order to offer the best resistance in Oil&Gas and Mining sector, in fact the high concentration of nitrile rubber acts as a screen to the particular aggressiveness of acid substances typical of these sectors of use.

SEBS is actually a form of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) with styrene added. SEBS thermoplastic elastomers is the upgraded version of SBS , it offers a better thermal stability and better weathering resistance. Specially designed for injection molding of our Winter Style – After Ski boot, with particular soft touch, rubber like texture and feel, good tensile strength and great elasticity .
Up to date Polyurethane material which offers an high resistance against fat substances. Focused on special lightness and low density enable the new production of PU footwear to perform which a PPE having high elasticity and resistance with a small weight . The mixture includes additives which helps fight the development of fungal substances or bacteria , moreover this mixture is particularly recommended for sensitive skin because with its pureness does not cause irritation or dermatosis. The color paste has a treatment that helps to prevent light aging and color tone changes after injection.
Moreover, for PPE sections / CE marked, we follow strict regulation of the EU norm and EN ISO standards applied insuring constant assessments of the footwear technical features arranged at our certifying body and Testing house Cimac Laboratories, with particular attention on the respect of the EN ISO 20345:2011 and EN ISO 20347:2012 standards according to following footwear features :

safety footwear S4 = polymeric boot and fulfills the requirements of safety footwear certified with the following symbols : SB( or SBH) + A+ FO + E and it must hold water outside for at least 15 minutes and has to have a profiled outsole. if produced with warm lining it will appear the symbol CI.The sole can be SRA or SRC.

Occupation footwear OB or OBH non-safety is basically proposed without antistatic features , and can be tested and certified according to different characteristics like : E , FO . if produced with warm lining it will appear the symbol CI. The sole can be SRA or SRC.
Occupation footwear O4 is a professional footwear non-safety which includes the following characteristics : OB + A + E . It can be also tested and certified with symbol FO . if produced with warm lining it will appear the symbol CI.The sole can be SRA or SRC.
Symbols and Technical Requirements
Occupational shoes with basic requirements – shoes without toe cap protection. Identifies a basic shoe. This is a shoe that fulfills minimum requirements such as tear resistance, durability or water vapor permeability of uppers, linings or the assembled shoe.
ANTISTATIC safety or professional footwear have a low electrical resistance between 0.1 and 1000 MegaOhm (MΩ). The use of antistatic substance in the mixture prevents a build-up of static electrical charges in the human body by sending these charges to the ground, preventing a sudden flow of electricity between electrically charged objects caused by contact.
Safety shoe with basic requirements – shoes with toe cap resistance up to 200J and pressure loading of at least 15 kN. Identifies a basic shoe. This is a shoe that fulfills minimum requirements such as tear resistance, durability or water vapor permeability for uppers, for linings or for the assembled shoe.

Hybrid occupational footwear is a class II footwear incorporating another material which extends the upper, the lower part in class II (rubbers and polymeric materials) whereas the upper part is made of leather or any material other than polymers.
CI means COLD INSULATION and it is the marking for outsoles with a feature of cold insulation from the ground (the test is made by filling a conditioned shoe with steel balls, then putting it in a cold box at -17 ± 2 °C, and after 30 minutes measuring the increase in temperature on the upper surface of the insole, the increase in temperature after this time has to be lower than 10ºC.

SRA: slip resistant soles are tested on a ceramic tile wetted with dilute soap solution .
SRC : includes resistance paramenters of the SRA + slip resistant soles tested on smooth steel with glycerol.
